Who We Are
Whānau Whanake is an alliance of Iwi and Māori Whānau Ora Providers who work collectively to deliver whānau centred services based on a kaupapa Māori world view.
Our rohe, Te Upoko o te Ika, stretches from Kapiti, Porirua through to Wellington and the Hutt Valley.
Our alliance came together with a shared understanding that a joined-up collective Whānau Ora approach would best support and help whānau realise their dreams and aspirations.
Many of our partners have been operating for over 40 years. Combined we have 450 kaimahi providing health, education and social services to whānau throughout our rohe.
"Kia hāngai ki ngā hiahia o ngā whānau."
"Supporting whānau to achieve their dreams and aspirations."
